19thc PRIMITIVE ~ FRENCH ANTIQUE COPPER 9” POT SAUCEPAN ~ TIN LINED Weight 4lb+ This French copper pot is large, 9 ” in diameter, and heavy , weighing just over 4lbs. It has a thick rolled edge and is hand-hammered . The iron handle is secured by heavy copper rivets, and a crude letter F is carved into it. Appears to be hand-wrought . Dates from the 19th century, perhaps earlier. The bottom is not flat (see photo) and the interior has some cooked on residue. There is no copper showing through. 4” tall.
