Bourgeat Copper Brazier, 11" Pot /Pan w/Lid #28 This is an 11-inch stainless steel-lined copper brazier made by Bourgeat. It is designed for commercial use. There are thick steel handles on each side to aid lifting and a total weight exceeding 9 pounds. The lid seals well and has a thick steel handle. Today's retail price for the comparable pan and lid is more than $1100. We purchased this piece and many others in the 1990’s. This was before Matfer bought Bourgeat. It has not been used much, maybe two or three times, mostly a display piece. We own and still use many pieces of Bourgeat cookware from this time period. It was built for a lifetime of professional use. We will be offering more pieces of Bourgeat and other French copper for sale in the coming months. CONDITION Very good lightly used condition.
