Description

Antique 1800s Handmade French or Swedish Copper Pot with Lid Forged Iron Handle Hammered bottom this is very very old. Rolled lip edge. I believe it is from the 1800s. It’s also hard to find I don’t see Maddie like this design. This is the original lid as well. Solid bottom no holes but there are a few dents on the bottom and on the lower bottom side as seen in my photos please see all photos as they are part of the description. Looks like the owner did inscribe something on the side of the pan, which is hard to see it says “Tru Berryton” Measures approximately 5 inches tall by 15 inches with the handle 8 inches without the handle. It does not sit perfectly flat as seen on the bottom looks like it has been hammered or well used! The base is copper and the handle is brass and riveted brass. I have included many pictures, but message if you would like more pictures or questions. Super rich warm copper color. These are rare they were used back in the day for a stoves burner to cook. They heat up fast and they cooled down fast. This looks like a restaurant quality. This is a very old pan. Looks around 2.0mm thick copper sidewalls Beautiful solid tight brass handle. Absolute beauty of a pan. No large dents dings or scratches, general wear on the pan, but nothing significant actually in really good condition.
