Description
An oval copper lid, stamped "E.Dehillerin 18. Rue Coquilliere" although it appears to have been double stamped. Based off the font and style of stamp, this copper lid was made sometime between 1900-1950. I've included a link below that contains additional information on the history of Dehillerin copper. This copper lid has a solid brass handle, with two copper rivets, and a clean and shiny tin lining. -Dimensions of this copper saucepan are: Diameter (outside edge) of 21.5x14.5cm or 8.5x5.75 inches Diameter of lip (likely the size pan this lid is intended for) of 19x12cm or 7.5x4.75 inches Weight of 304g or 11 oz Stamped Dehillerin lids are rare, especially one in this size. https://www.vintagefrenchcopper.com/buyers-guide/field-guides/field-guide-to-dehillerin/
